While Dw has reached his second birthday (hurray!!) this month, Kavan's second tooth has broken through. Which has left me up with him at least twice a night and as many as five. My mother came to visit for 2 weeks, just long enough for her to celebrate Dw's birthday with us. It was nice for Dw and Kavan to meet their Grandma Gloria for the 1st time, they all enjoyed the visit. So for Dw's birthday we all went down to McDonald's for dinner (Dw's favorite) and had cake and presents at home, he had a homemade Muno cupcake cake, his favorite character from the Yo Gabba Gabba kid's show. Nana's gift won the show that night. One of the gifts Nana sent him was a little motorcycle, it was the second gift he opened. As soon he saw that he was done opening gifts. He was off driving his motorcycle all over the living room, which led us chasing him down to finish opening the handful of gifts left behind. Kavan is going to be crawling soon and Dw is coming along very nicely with his speech. He'll have conversations on the phone now, as long as your asking the questions of course and he is mimicking words and sounds now.
