Dw and Kavan's 1st Halloween was fun and exciting....well at least for Dw. Kavan was asleep before we left our block! For their first Halloween, Kavan was Charlie Brown and Dw was Bam-Bam. The boys got to trick or treat with their cousins Tristan and Lillie. Dw left the house with a bag of skittles that dad gave to him and didn't release it for the rest of the night, pail in one hand and a bag of Skittles in the other we ventured out to the first house, which was a good and scary one. Dw was a trooper, a little apprehensive at first with the weirdo at the door but as he saw the treat go in the pail he was sold, Halloween is now his favorite holiday. All it took was a few more houses.... walk up, trick or treat them, get a candy...this is awesome, said the look on his face. I've never seen a 2 yr. old so fearless, he was cutting other kids off at the door. And even manage to mutter out a full thank you as we walked away. Dw was a kid on a mission, some of the time leading me to the houses he saw had their lights on. We all had a good time.
